Weekly Meetings

Bradshaw Beavers ensure there are lots of games to play, you will be able to make things, sing songs, listen to stories, visit interesting places and gain lots of badges. You will also be able to go on camps or  sleepovers, where you spend a night away from home with the rest of the Colony.

 

Weekly meetings are typically split into 3 key sections:

 

Main Activity

The main activity follows a structured approach and ranges from making things to science experiments to educational topics to working towards badges. All Beavers are encouraged to participate, give their views and generally feel part of each session.

 

Games

Each meeting includes at least one game with Beavers encouraged to come up with the game. The games vary from individual to teams with the key aim being having some fun.

 

Beaver News / Circle Time

Beaver News gives each Beaver the opportunity to tell everyone some good or bad news. It also works to teach them to listen, interact and respect others, whilst helping them to calm down.
